Band-leader Shane Atkinson’s melodic, keyboard arrangements run the spectrum of powerful, symphonic and atmospheric, yet with a certain unique edgy and dramatic feel that make them distinctively different.

The guitar work ranges from powerful to heartfelt and adds a further dynamic to the sound, while the rhythm section – similarly to YES – runs the gamut of tight and driving to sensitive and atmospheric. Together, this band amasses a huge, often panoramic sound! Atkinson’s writing, production and engineering values are way up there with the best! He delivers classy compositions ranging from melodic, hook-laden songs that have anthemic choruses to gentle, infectious ballads, through to epics with bombastic, complex arrangements and extended instrumental passages.

As Prog fans will have noted on the 2016 debut EVERSHIP album and its follow-up in 2018, this band has one outstanding vocalist in Beau West, and as all fans of quality Prog know, this is a very important factor.

‘The Uncrowned King - Act 2’ is the 2nd half of a Rock Opera adaptation of the 1910 book by Harold Bell Wright. This story is an allegory in the style of ‘The Pilgrim's Progress’ but with a story arch of Twain’s ‘Prince & The Pauper' meets Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’.

Broken down into two album releases, the first story was an allegory on the nature of truth. It is a statement that real truth cannot be derived solely by the senses, but it is more transcendent and one must be courageous in its pursuit and consequence.
