With Scooter Forever, the formation delivers in the 25th year of her career appropriate room for interpretation. Michael Simon and Phil Speiser have a significant part in this new status SCOOTERs because they ensure continuity in the fifth chapter - with the MCing of frontman and mastermind H.P. Baxxter stands out: his speech singing has never been so tight and precise. Added to this are a knowledge and a desire for musical contemporary trends that live out in a complex substructure of music from bass, breaks and micro-improvisations. Thanks to the musical, rhythmic and melodious ideas, Scott Forever has become nothing more than a stunning, pumping, driving powerhouse of an album. You can hear this power in SCOOTER's new music immediately in the outstanding single MY GABBER. My Gabber - a unique cooperation of Germany's most successful techno band and the currently most successful rapper Holland JEBROER. The Dutch rap & hardstyle superstar was recently awarded gold and platinum for his controversially discussed hit "Kind of de Duivel" ("Child of a Devil"). My Gabber impressively proves that Scooters roots are firmly anchored in the permanently developed hardcore, jumpstyle and rave scene.
Scooter Forever - a new milestone in the band's many years of history! H.P. Baxxter a new SCOOTER anthem called "In Rave We Trust" into the ether - a perfect pop number with such a simple and ingenious melody that we wonder why no one has come to this little stroke of genius before. Or "Kill The Cat": Defined down to the last atomic particles, Scooters drive their own trademark sound into new sonic dimensions. Other songs on the album such as "Wild & Wicked" impress with great hit potential as well as significant, hyper-tuned guitar sounds.
How far back H.P. Baxxter's history consciousness ranges, is able to illustrate the Scott Forever bonus CD, a collection of a total of ten rave classics that SCOOTER in the 25th year of her career. Legend B. 's "Lost in Love" to Infrequent Oscillations "Burning Phibes" to Jones & Stephenson's "The First Rebirth," scooters gather ten killer tracks that, according to H.P. Baxxters should never be forgotten. H.P. Baxxter: "This too is one side of Scooter: respect for the achievements of our heroes. For the second CD, we went far back into the sound of the early rave period, choosing some songs that were benchmark for the founding and further development of Scooter. With the new recordings, we wanted to preserve the vibe of the originals, but at the same time revitalise the songs with up-to-date sounds." Scooter Forever will be presented to fans worldwide from February 2018. So the band celebrates their anniversary 25 years after its founding with a one-year party - and the equally extended "100% SCOOTER - 25 Years WILD & WICKED" tour. SCOOTER gave the start for this party marathon at the beginning of July this year in front of 20,000 visitors with two spectacular open air shows in Leipzig and Mönchengladbach.
