Rising from the surging Death/Grind scene of the early '90s, Putrid Offal quickly became a cult act with their debut release in 1991—Première Décération, issued by Wimp Records (LP) and Adipocere Records (CD). However, by the mid-'90s, the band slowly faded into obscurity, seemingly preserved in the formaldehyde of underground legend.

But as the old saying goes, that is not dead which can eternal lie. After 25 years of dormancy, Putrid Offal re-emerged in 2015 with Mature Necropsy, a brutal reimagining of their early work, marking their official full-length debut. This resurgence led to a relentless touring schedule across Europe, including an electrifying performance at Hellfest 2017, later captured on DVD as a bonus for their second full-length album, Sicknesses Obsessions (2020). The carnage continued with extensive European tours, further solidifying their legacy in the extreme metal scene.

Now, with their longtime label Kaotoxin/Xenokorp laid to rest, Putrid Offal return deadlier than ever, hungrier for the stage like a ravenous undead beast. Armed with Obliterated Life, their most savage, direct, and mature album to date, they are set to rip apart audiences with unrelenting brutality. The slaughter continues.
