Produced by their former bassist Nick Jameson, the record explodes from the opening salvo of ‘Fool For The City’ through a succession of crushing rockers such as ‘Home In My Hand’ (displaying Rod ‘The Bottle’ Prices masterful bottle neck guitar work), the eight minute ‘I just Want To Make Love To You’, and their frantic charge of ‘Road Fever’. Of course the ace in deck is a definitive recording of the band’s boogie behemoth ‘Slow Ride’, a track that defines everything you need to know about their style.
