While earlier releases like "Dead Ends" , "Dark Towers, Bright Lights" and "Alternate Endings" established Cranial as a force in the post-metal and sludge scenes, "Structures" feels like the band's most personal and evolved statement yet. The album's emotional DNA is rooted in grief, anger and uncertainty, but it never collapses under that weight and gives room for hope.
