Obsahuje všetky dochované rozhlasové a televízne vystúpenia Jacka v BBC, ktoré uskutočnil v rokoch 1970 až 2001, spolu s nádhernou neodvysielanou nahrávkou pre nemeckú televíznu reláciu Beat Club od Lifetime (s účasťou aj Tonyho Williamsa, Johna McLaughlina a Larryho Younga), ktorá bola natočená približne v čase vzniku albumu „Turn It Over“. Materiály BBC zahŕňajú dve legendárne nahrávky z koncertu. Prvá z roku 1971 (s priateľmi Chrisom Speddingom, Grahamom Bondom, Johnom Marshallom a Artom Themenom) je vydaná v plnom rozsahu spolu s plnou 18-minútovou verziou skladby „Powerhouse Sod“, ktorá je prvýkrát prezentovaná na CD. Druhý koncert pochádza z roku 1977 a predstavuje kapelu, ktorú Jack zostavil pre album „How’s Tricks“. Súčasťou sú aj audio aj video nahrávky špeciálneho koncertu Old Grey Whistle Test z roku 1975 s Jackovou kapelou, v ktorej účinkovali Carla Bley, Mick Taylor, Ronnie Leahy a Bruce Gary. Súbor obsahuje aj koncert z roku 1981 nahraný pre The Old Grey Whistle Test, televízne vystúpenie z roku 1982 a kompletné nahrávky Jazz In Britain z rokov 1971 a 1978 s Jackom Bruceom, Jonom Hisemanom a Johnom Surmanom, spolu so nahrávkou pre Later With Jools Holland z roku 2001. „Smiles And Grins“ je najkomplexnejšia zbierka Jackových vysielacích nahrávok, aká kedy bola vydaná, a obsahuje ilustrovanú brožúru a esej –
