The Greek melodic power metal band's third album, Digenes Akritas, released in 2025, is an epic concept album based on the heroics and legends of the Byzantine Empire and produced in time for May 29 (the date of the fall of Constantinople in 1453). It was produced to coincide with May 29 (the date of the fall of Constantinople in 1453). The album is a "journey through history," blending symphonic majesty and heavy metal riffs to depict the history of battles and glory in sound. The album also includes "Kassia," a 17:30-minute, five-part epic. Dedicated to the poet, composer, and hymn writer known as Kassia, it is the most ambitious challenge in the band's history, interweaving ethereal melodies and choruses. It is an imposing monumental album that beautifully combines epic scale and metal fury.
