Lore’ is a studio album by the Irish folk group Clannad. It is re-issued with the Cantoma mix bonus track of “Croí Cróga”. ‘Lore’ was greeted with great acclaim by music critics worldwide, often stating that this was one of Clannad’s greatest recordings. This has the most Gaelic songs of all Clannad albums since 1982 and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Age Album. The most contemporary sounding track is “Seanchas,” which, though its lyrics are in Gaelic, could pass for a Peter Gabriel track. Yet the real gem here is the bonus remix of “Croi Croga.” This track is a stunning mix of Ambient jazz, old school R&B club-groove and slow-dance Top 40 pop.

On the eve of what would have been American singer-songwriter and Byrds founding member Gene Clark’s 75th birthday comes the reissue of one of his finest works, No Other. Released in 1974 on Asylum Records, a year after the Byrds shortlived reunion, Gene reached for the stars with No Other; a psychedelic rock, folk, country and soul record that famously cost a small fortune to make. Although received warmly by critics, it fl opped and was soon deleted, a failure Gene never came to terms with. This is overall one of his very best albums, and the competition's tough here with great albums like ‘White Light’, ‘No Other’ and ‘Firebyrd’. Gene Clark was more than the "Dylan" or "Neil Young" that never was...He was the "Gene Clark " that never was. And "Roadmaster" might be the Gene Clark album that never was...This was originally recorded as a follow-up to his now legendary ‘White Light’. But he only recorded eight songs back then, and it wasn't released. It was released only in Germany and Holland with three additional tracks Clark recorded with The Byrds (“She's The Kind Of Girl” and “One In A Hundred”) and The Flying Burrito Brothers (“Here Tonight”).
Beyond his achievements as a founding member of the Byrds, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Gene Clark was truly one of the most prolific singer/songwriters of the rock era. This album introduces previously unreleased studio sessions from Clark's pre-Byrds days in 1964 with studio recordings from 1967-70 plus the Nyteflyght sessions from 1982.
